Welcome to the Henri Poiron wine estate.
The Estate is situated at the heart of the historical wine-growing region of Nantes. Our wines are made with the utmost respect of the wine-making tradition. Since the early 1800s, it has been passed on from father to son down to Eric Poiron, the 8th generation of wine-growers in the Poiron family.
Our estate is situated at a 30-minute drive from Nantes, in Maisdon Sur Sèvre, between the Sèvre river and the Maine river. The vines spread over 88 acres (36 hectares).
What we produce: Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie, Gros Plant du Pays Nantais Sur Lie, Vins de Pays (white, red, rosé).
Our vines are cultivated with care with the integrated farming method in an effort to conserve the environment.
Eric and his team welcome you all year long, Monday through Saturday. Come and visit the vineyard, the storehouse, the barrel cellar and taste our wines!
